Virtual Linac 2.0

Say goodbye to IDL - it is WebGL now. The program can be launched via ESAPI and it runs on most browsers.
TxFields come from Eclipse directly and they can be auto aligned to their iso center. The rendering looks much better than the previous one.

I found out the first version was done in 2007. It has been more than 12 years ago. I purchased the TrueBeam 3D model this time instead of building my own. That's why it looks much better this time. Ha

I am sad to move away from IDL; however, it's really hard to say "no" to open software. The only thing better than the free lunch is the open software because it is free.
