SHOW-OFF AGAIN

What did I do recently? Fooling around? No...

As a planner, no one wants to see the gantry collides with patient. I know there are several ways to figure out what kind of combination of gantry and couch angles will have collisions. Most people rely on their own experience, but I don't have a lot of experience. Some people just do a test run, but I may not be able to get the machine all the time. Someone use some math to predict the collision, but my math is not that good. So, I decide to build a virtual machine. There you go.

All the dimensions are measured from our 21EX machine. After you built it, you can rotate all the components just like a real machine.
I try to include all the details, like floor mark as shown above.

Even the screws on the collimator.

However, if you think that is all, I won't call it a show-off.

You even can import the patient CT images to build the virtual patient to see where you may get collision.


Is that cool??

I know TOMO may not have this collision issue. But if you want, I still can build a TOMO for you.

MY DREAM GIRL

This morning I had a weird dream. I went the school which is just next to my junior high shool.

It's for some sort of neutron measurement, but I couldn't remember the details. It's fine and that's not the point.

The point is that I met a girl when we were going through the security check. Short hair and very very nice smile. She can definitely melt you...

We had a great chat. She was coming for some acceptance tests. It sounds that this school is buying a new machine, doesn't it?

She took me around and show me the campus. I've never visit there like this before because it used to be a girl school and we barely got chance to get in. Now I still can feel she hold my hand...

You guys may ask what happened afterward.

What happens? Of course, I woke up.

AT LEAST

We lost the game today. We didn't play well recently. I hope we can do it better next Sunday.

Fortunately, Yankees won tonight. It's a really nice coming back. I don't know how far tehy can go, but at least they stay alive.

SHOW-OFF

It takes a few days to learn how to use someone's program.
It takes a few days to write a program by yourself as well.

This is the program I wrote recently and try to get rid of RIT program.

Let me share with you guys.

Don't need to re-scan if you didn't scan the film perfectly. You can drag the film whatever you want in this program.


Give you dose profiles on the side interactively. Adjust your normalization dose and see the result in no time.
